christmas time!

Getting the tree tomorrow, i've got the Christmas cups out & the stockings are out! Excited to have a cookie baking day:) maybe next week?

My dad recently came up to San Francisco to drop off a lamp & my grandmother's vanity (it's been sitting in his garage for the past almost two years & i've always wanted it!) So i think with the new additions to our apartment it really complete the living room. So stoked! But now we move onto our bedroom;) Don't mind the target bags they have all of our tree decorating stuff & living in SF doesn't allow you to go to target that often SO WHEN I DO! I DO!

i should write more. i should do a lot of things.

my life is not turning out how i thought it would. and it's making me depressed & slowly losing hope. losing is key in that last sentence.  i need something, i know i do & i don't know what i need or how to find it.

love this movie, not a fan of blogger 1/2 as much as tumblr. please get more "user friendly" blogger. you can't even upload an image from websites with the web downloader. ugh! so it's in a link. enjoy!

syncing post

does anyone know a way to sync blogs? like everything i post on tumblr will post on blogger? i know i got livejournal to post to my tumblr... anyone??

girls weekend!!!!

girls weekend was such a success. We came to the conclusion that no matter what is going on in life we have to have these weekends together. So we’re going to try to get together like this 2-3 times a year.  & then maybe a few couples weekends. These little escapes to paradise are affordable and oh-so easy to plan. & i bet most of it has to do with being surrounded my best friends.

Vacation!!!

Nick & I are planing our next vacation already. I have the best idea... Washington DC for a few days (visit my aunt and uncle who are back from Argentina) & then take a train/bus to NYC (visit his sister). I wanna see the white house & Smithsonian museum & well NYC is NYC who doesn't like to visit?! Plus we've both never been to DC and it's been a few years since we've visited NYC. I'm getting super excited planning this trip!  

Before we buy any plan tickets we need to get our Iphone 4's and a few things from all saints (they are on sale!)

Express yourself!

I'm at work. The great thing about work is that they give you too much time to do something that doesn't take anytime at all. But no one ever says "hey I can open in 30min so do I really have to sit down for 3 hours before the store opens in the office and prentend to work" nope, they don't. Well not if you work retail. It's the 3 hours a week I get to sit and I take full advantage. The little things in life. Or the big things like the $1500 paycheck every two weeks! 

Speaking of work. I feel like a loser. Ice applied to all saints THREE times (!!!!!!!) and nothing! No call, no email no nothing! Ego has been shot! I've gotten at least a call back from pretty much every job I've ever applied for. I'm losing my touch. Or my resume is:) o'well. I'll keep applying! Haha. Good day! 

(man it feels good to write again, even if it's not about much.)

and NOW, the furniture!

i think it deleted some of the pictures i posted, but you get the idea. cute quaint one-bedroom with TWO walk in closets, small kitchen & hardwood floors throughout. here is the furniture i've gotten so far. Vintage corduroy hilda bed, antique trunk (grandmothers), end table that was also my grandmothers (antique), and a vintage dresser that i did not take a picture of :( it gets delivered along with the couch June 18th

now the apartment.

sorry, i don't really know how to use blogger...tumblr (mainly cut and paste, but i re-blog a lot of other blogs there) is SOOO much easier. it might take me a bit to get into the hang of this.

movin' on up to apartment #204

So Nick & I are moving up a floor, into our own apartment. We are (I'm) having a blast decorating, appliance shopping and all! So i'll just upload some photos of some of the furniture & kitchen stuff i've collected thus far. Also pictures of the apartment unfurnished. Hopefully once it's all furnished i'll remember to "stage" it and take photos, before & after type deal. enjoy !

i know i always say i should write in this blog more, but keeping up with internet trends, blogging, twittering, yelping, blip.com-ing, tumblr, flickr ect. ect. is a lot harder then it looks! even with a damn iphone. so here is my promise to "cut & paste" onto all my different blogs (saves time) and hopefully when nick & i move into our new apartment (june18th) i will have a little more time and organization in my life to do such things.
